Surgeries must now provide extended hours as part of their contract.
Extended hours are to assist patients to get into the surgery outside of the core hours 8am-6.30 pm Monday- Friday. These are currently provided after 6.30 pm to 8pm and on a Saturday 9am-5pm.
These are pre bookable appointments only and the service does not provide an emergency service- this is still covered by the out of hours service.
Appointments can be face to face or via the telephone. The face to face appointments take place at St Andrews Surgery, Elliott Chappell Health Centre, 215 Hessle Road, Hull, HU3 4BB.
Your GP Practice may directly offer to book you into be seen, although this maybe at a different location this is an extension of your GP appointments system.
